Here is the fear every crusher owner has, even if they don’t say it: “What if I switch to new software and the weighbridge stops on a busy morning?”
It’s a fair fear. Trucks don’t wait. But a crusher ERP rollout does not need to be a big-bang risk. Done in the right order, your plant keeps dispatching while the new system quietly takes over. Here is the 30-day plan we follow.

Week 1: Set up the foundation
- Collect your masters. Products (20 mm, 40 mm, M-sand, P-sand, GSB, dust), units, HSN codes and GST rates.
- Customer list. Names, GSTINs, addresses and special rates.
- Vehicle list. Your own trucks and regular customer trucks.
- Connect the weighbridge. Test that weights read directly from the indicator.
- Fix the camera. Mount and test the IP camera so each weighment captures a photo.
Decide who can change rates. Write it down. This one decision prevents most future leakage.
Week 2: Train and run in parallel
- Train weighbridge operators on the new slip flow. It usually takes a day or two.
- Run both systems side by side. Keep the old register going and compare totals every evening.
- Train the office team on receipts, expenses and reports.
- Connect Tally and check that a few test vouchers land correctly.
Week 3: Switch the weighbridge over
- Make the new system the only way to issue a slip.
- Start GST e-invoice and e-way bill generation from dispatch entries.
- Start recording diesel issues against each machine in fuel monitoring.
- Install the RokMixPro app on the owner’s and manager’s phones.
Week 4: Lock it in
- Stop the old register.
- Review the first month’s reports: product-wise sales, customer outstanding, diesel per machine.
- Fix any gaps in rates or customer details.
- Agree on a daily 10-minute review habit (see our daily reports checklist).
The five mistakes that slow a rollout
- Starting with every module on day one. Start with the weighbridge, then add the rest.
- Letting operators “fix” weights. Integration means no edits. Hold that line.
- Skipping the parallel run. A week of comparison builds trust in the numbers.
- Not involving the accountant early. Their Tally setup decides how smooth sync will be.
- The owner not opening the app. If the owner doesn’t look, nobody else will.
How M RANK supports go-live
Our team sets up your products, rates and customers, connects your weighbridge and camera, trains your operators, and stays close during the parallel run. Read the full Crusher ERP guide to see what each module does, or explore RokMixPro.
FAQ
Can we go live without stopping dispatch?
Yes. That is the whole point of the parallel week.
Do we need new hardware?
Usually just a stable PC at the weighbridge, an internet connection and an IP camera. We check your existing setup first.
What if internet goes down?
Ask us during the demo how your specific setup handles it. It is one of the first things we plan for.
